Provide us with your experiences!  Survey closes January 31, 2023

Walkerton, ON (November 1, 2022) –   EmployerOne is Back and ready for your input!  Due to the pressures and changes being faced by employers during the Covid-19 Pandemic this project was put on hold for 2021 and 2022. EmployerOne provides valuable insights about our local workforce challenges and opportunities.  The revised survey reflects the current workforce trends and has been shortened to reduce the time required to complete the survey.

Why does this survey matter?  EmployerOne collects labour market demand data for our region. This information is crucial to building a strong and resilient workforce. With a chronic low unemployment rate and the recent pandemic; our employers and community stakeholders are facing critical shortages in the labour force.  The final report will be released to schools, community partners, government agencies, and the public to support local stakeholder planning and skills development.

Who is this survey is for? For all employers – with at least one employee – in the Bruce, Grey, Huron, or Perth counties.   This survey should be completed by a representative (e.g. owner or management staff) who can speak to the organization’s workforce experiences in 2022.   The survey consists of approximately 20 questions and will take you 5 mins to complete.  Your responses will be collected anonymously and data will be published in aggregate form only.

“We would like to extend a huge thank you to our local employers, advisory partners and funders for your support of this and other projects undertaken by the Four County Labour Market Planning Board”, says Dana Soucie, Interim Executive Director.   This service is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario, and is a collaboration with The County of Bruce, County of Grey, County of Huron, Perth County, City of Stratford, Town of St. Marys, Town of Hanover and the Huron Manufacturing Association (HMA).
