The EmployerOne Survey is an employer survey used across the Western Ontario Region to collect employer data surrounding hiring challenges and in-demand skills. By better understanding the unique challenges and current strategies being used by our local businesses it allows us to focus on workforce development projects and partnerships that contribute to the sustainability of our workforce. First delivered by the Four County Labour Market Planning Board in 2015, the 2024-25 EmployerOne marks the eighth time the survey has been conducted in the region providing valuable time series analysis. We are excited to introduce two new sections in this year’s report: HR Benchmarking data and Self-Employed/Owner-Operated Businesses in the region.
