Project Phases:

Phase 4 – After releasing our most recent report Closing Workforce Gaps: Leveraging New Comer talent we felt that it was a good time to promote this amazing tool and set up a working group.   Together we can model the way!

Phase 3 – Through GBLIP, A small working group was formed by it’s members to explore the use of the tool as a collaborative effort for Bruce and Grey counties.

Phase 2 – Grey Bruce Local Immigration Partnership (GBLIP) and WOWC promoted the toolkit and rollout through the Welcoming Communities Video.

Phase 1 – Created and rolled out by the Western Ontario Warden’s Cacus (WOWC) the Newcomer Readiness Assessment Checklist was developed for communities to measure their newcomer readiness.
