The "Career Symposia" initiative serves to bridge the gap between businesses, educators and trainers and the general public. With opposing forces at work within our regional labour market - an aging workforce and a youth out-migration - these symposia build awareness of what is available locally with regard to career and employment opportunities and skill requirements.
